Problem with Sacred Gold

I have same problem, and even when I try join multiplayer, it can't connect.

you might have to reinstall to get the game to work properly, on my first steam install, the menu didn't work properly to the point where I couldn't even start a game

Go to the sacred2.exe file (for me, located at: C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Sacred 2 Gold\system), right click and select Properties -> Compatibility -> Run this program in compatibility mode for: -> Windows XP (Service Pack 3).

Only things I can think of is to verify its game cache files, or go your steam folder, and delete the clientregistry.blob file (If you delete it, then steam will have to update the platform) It mostly works for me all the time.

is it safe to delete the clientregistry?

Ok i deleted the clientregistry.blob file. I updated my steam and nothing. Also when i try to verify i am at 0% and no more. It doesn't verify this.

I would also suggest uninstalling the game and then re-downloading it with Steam again.

I Redownload it and again the same problem! Any ideas?
