It was the same mod who suspended DocJ for this comment. He's had a hardon for both of them for ages.
Edit: This is more than a little hypocritical - suspending Mully for making a "passive-aggressive" and "negative" remark (quoted from two moderators in the two suspensions she received for this one comment) after the one of those very same moderators told her in another ticket
we don't suspend for insults. People can write I'm half-brained thieving pole and it will have no repercussions.

If that's the case, you'd hope there is a review system for moderators so that they can be removed. I wonder if the lack of reliable replacement moderators plays a part in that? "Gamer forum" and "staying impartial" are two things that don't really feel like they'd mesh easily, heh. Though on the opposite side of that is the phenomenon where recruiting staff from friends means that it's impossible to hold them accountable without shaking your personal relationship to them. A different angle on the "Familiarity breeds contempt" thing.
Then again I'm not privy to any of details of this other beyond Mully seemingly getting bounced for that comment.

Apparently her comment was far more unacceptable than the blatantly racist thread posted yesterday (that fellow will be back on site in just under 5 hours, by the way). When observed in that light, it really makes one question the priorities of (some of) support on this site, and remark on the legitimacy of her claim.
Given the meaning of the word "moderate", I expect better of them. Some of them deliver on what's expected, some abuse their privileges, and some are just here to enter more giveaways.
New "moderators" are chosen by current moderators, so you're not wrong. Long story short - a ticket about a mod's behavior is akin to pissing into the wind.
