I didn't giveaway won Bad Rats. I found the guy and stabbed him. Nobody would take my money.

I receive all the games I win here and I don't plan on encountering something stupid yet.

Once their giveaway ends, a random winner is generated by our site, and the giveaway creator receives the necessary information to contact the winner in order to send the gift.

Never won a fake giveaway.
At one time, I saw a user give three copies of GTA V away here, so I added him to tell him how the website worked.

found a guy with a bunch of alt accounts. He tried to use them to farm CV, but failed (he made fake GA, had his alt enter, but as it was not 5 entried got nothing). So he set up a group with 5 alt accounts. All had same nickname, all same description, avatar etc. And he was obviously getting cheap game on them to get them onto SG as well. All only had him as a friend and in the group there was only his main as an admin and all these multiaccounts. When I encountered him about them, he explained that these are not alt accounts but his RL friends that he just got into steam, and set up this group to help them start out, and they were all so grateful towards him that they all changed their avatar and nicknames to group-related as a way to thank him :D:

Luckily guy is now permabanned.

He should know though.

That's not really an excuse but just making a dumb assumption. I've heard that before. Not sure how it would make sense tbh :s

I was told, "I thought '1... 2... 3... KICK IT! (Drop That Beat Like an Ugly Baby)' was how long until the giveaway started, then i forgot about the whole thing."

I won Bioshock Infinite, and I was sooooo excited! I friended the guy on Steam, and he seemed really happy to talk to me... Until I mentioned how happy I was to have won BI, and he instantly stopped responding to me. I ended up buying myself a copy in the end (actually, I had bought it for my brother's birthday, then accidentally added it to my account -- WHOOPS!), but boy was it disappointing!

Well this happened to me.
And after I made the thread, the guy added me again and said something like "TempeteJoachim, really ? I never said the game would be on Steam."

I just won a GA yesterday, and now I'm waiting on the excuse because the key has been used previously, so there will be something sneaky that happens I can bet. :)
