Well, I've never watched the US one, but I heartily recommend the UK one. One thing to note. The UK one is two seasons long. They said they didn't want it to get stale or run out of ideas. I think the US one is a bit like the duracell bunny. It just keeps going and going.

The UK one is short and consistently great. The US one has had a much longer run and quality has been less consistent, but at its best it's also really good. The first season or so of the US version borrowed heavily from the UK one, but after that they diverge quite a bit.

This is a big offtopic but I don't really know where else to ask:
I'm planning on watching The Office but I don't know where should I start / which one should I watch: UK or US? Do they have the same story/episodes? Are they different enough to warrant watching both? Is one better than the other? Thanks in advance.
