Offline Achievements bug in steam?

Only way I see is using SAM

I'd rather have that than no achievements at all, no one cares about steam achievements because of SAM, so achievement are only to satisfy yourself. Yea it looks like you cheated but you know you didn't and that's all the matters. All my times are wrong because I don't play online a lot, do I care? nah. If I cared enough then I could just afk overnight and let my times fill in, but I don't care about game time.

there is no way to fix it. When you play in offline mode there are 1 options - your achievments get saved and you get them all at same time when you go online, and even worse option - your achievments go missing. I've had to play ,mostly offline for 6 months (had no internet at new apartment) - and for some games I've had like "get lvl 30" achiv unlocked withourt "get lvl 10". Game timers were all over the place as well - I've lost like 200+ h in skyrim, while some games got full time.

Steam client is not design for offline mode - it's an extra and it's very buggy - if you're to play mostly on that, you're got to be prepared for shitload of game-time and achievments bugs.

Steam offline mode is great, its not buggy, it just doesn't record game time (hence why it says "time on record") and its up to the developers for some dumb ass reason to set an online only option for achievements. I guess developers setting it to online only is supposed to prevent cheating...but SAM doesn't care. That's why most of the game I do have time in are online only achievements.

And even then there are 2 types of online achievements, I've had game achievement work if I started online and then disconnect, but most require constant internet.

If you have to prove yourself, just whip out your cloud save or some screenshots.

I usually play offline too, so i have your same issue. Who cares what other thinks, you earned these achievements!

Nothing you can legitimately do about it and while people believing you are stupid enough to cheat achievements all at the same time and never get around fixing that might be annoying just ignore them. Your friends will believe you and the rest doesn't matter.

Nice that the game allows itthough, Bastion for instance have my achievements be out of order since I lost connection during the point it would have triggered a few and only got them on new game.
