Are you looking forward to this game?
Well that depends on what they mean by that. Dynamically generated world might just mean randomly generated maps for dungeon instances like in previous Torchlight games.
As for the shared part, I think sharing the world with other players so you can easily team up every now and then is nice, especially for when you want to tackle dungeons with hard or annoying monsters and bosses.

After the pleasant surprise of Torchlight 2, i totally will get this.
I don't get why Perfect World did the trouble of closing Runic and then reopening it again with the same IP and the same people, changing only the name of the studio. It looks fishy, but i'm interested nonetheless.
Anyway i'm expecting a standard game - no dlcs, no f2p, no modern day bullshit, just old school quality like previous Runic games.

I can't vote. I LOVED the Torchlight games, but HATE Perfect World. Expect nothing but a pay fest from them.

Torchlight 2 was good, but if they will turn it into MMO, I'll pass. If it will be possible to play with small group of friends without interaction with other players, than it may be worth buying.

Oh great! Another series RUINED by trying to make an "MMO"

I liked Torchlight 1 & 2, and I would have been interested in this one if it wasn't for the "shared, persistent & dynamically generated world". I'm only mildly interested in it, and I'll wait for more information to be revealed before judging it.

Perfect World announced Torchlight Frontiers, a new entry in the Torchlight series. Apparently it'll be "shared, persistent & dynamically generated world" where you can "team up with friends & other players, or venture alone". I'm not sure what they mean by shared world, will it work like PoE or will you actually be able to find random players in the dungeons.
It's being created by Echtra Games which is lead by the former Runic co-founder and apparently has developers that previously worked on Diablo and Torchlight games. It's yet unknown will it be free to play or buy to play and honestly I'm not sure which one of the two I'd rather have it be. With F2P it might have bad micro-t system, while by being B2P it might not get a large long-lasting community like PoE.
I have to say I'm not really a Torchlight fan, mostly due to weak story and lore and small amount of good builds for each class due to good deal of skills simply being inferior to certain other skills (I got spoiled by PoE which has large amount of fun builds for each class). I did like the artstyle though, among some other features like having a pet and being able to fish (albeit fishing is nowhere near as fun as it was in Fate games where you could "fish out" equipment such as weapons and armors).
But I am looking forward to this game, taken they don't screw it up. After the constant stream of battle royale games (which is a genre I don't enjoy at all) and what not I'm glad we're finally getting another online dungeon crawler RPG.
