Hi guys, sorry if this is a redundant thread. I've searched but am not sure how exactly to approach this.

A giveaway of mine ended over two days ago. I emailed the key to the winner rapidly after the giveaway ended. However, the winner hasn't responded via email. They have logged into steamgifts multiple times the past couple days since winning, so they should have been notified. I also sent a friend request on Steam, but not response.

Their Steam profile shows they don't have the game in their library, so I guess they haven't redeemed it yet. Or it's possible they have the key to someone else and are ignoring me.

What should I do? If I understand correctly, I need to wait 7 days before requesting a reroll or contacting support? I don't want to have an undelivered gift on my profile, since I definitely sent it and have tried to contact the winner via Steam and email.

Thanks for any advice you might have.

Contact them through email and remind them to leave feedback. If they don't, contact support when you are able to.

You won't be able to reroll because you've already sent them the key.

So if they don't mark the game as received, or they give it to someone else, then I get stuck with the bad feedback on my profile?

I can certainly show the emails where I sent the game and followed up. I also saved a screenshot of sending a Steam friend request.

If you prove you sent it support should deal with the bad feedback. Was just saying that they won't allow a reroll because the key may have been used.

When I do a giveaway for a key I do it through steam chat rather than email.

I see, thx. Probably a good idea to send keys via steam chat from now on.

I only send keys trough Steam PM. Every user has Steam PM. And in the same time while in PM you can ask him person to person to mark as received.

My bioshock giveaway ended about 2 months ago and he still hasn't put it on as received.
He has his steam profile as private, so I don't even know if he's redeemed it
Talking to support right now :D

That sounds bad, though after 7 days the users can't change anything, right? Good luck, I hope support fixes it for you.

Try adding the guy on steam and give him the key directly through steam chat.
