It very well could show up in the HB monthly or a bundle not too long from now. The original game is really awesome and this one looks to be really good as well. For a buck it's a good pickup even if it were going into a bundle it the extra copy would make a good gift or giveaway.

Unless you're subscribed to HBMs. Humble's overall quality may have gone down the drain in the past year or so, yet the Monthlies are the one constant which represents a guaranteed purchase from me.

It was on their con shop, too. The original Hammerwatch was fun for a while, this one is Mostly Positive on Steam, and has no professional review of note.

Seeing no sign that it's worth my time.

That's true, I never saw such a great deal, most of their daily offers are relatively pricey in comparison to other past deals for the respective games. Would be nice if they manage to continue with this.
