My iTunes library recently got screwed over because of a random glitch, and I think it's time for me to move on to something else (RIP iTunes 10.7.0.21).

I've read at least 20 different articles/surveys that thoroughly analyze some of the best and well-known desktop music players for Windows, but they all have different opinions on what is best of the best.

Since I don't really think there is one specific "best" program, I want to know what you guys use most of the time. I recently got an Android, so I'd like it if it features an easy Android sync option, but I am not yet ready to ditch my iPod Nano, so it should also have an iPod sync option.

I've been using mediamonkey for a few years now and I have no complaints. There's a trial version available I think, give it a try.

I use for playing mp3's and webradio only WinAmp. But with this you can't sync i think :-( WinAmp is also available for Android.
But for syncing the music from PC to Samsung Galaxy S4 mini i use a USB-Data Cable and Samsungs Kies or the normal Desktop Explorer

I use MediaMonkey for my huge music library, I've tried millions of music softwares - for me this is the best so far. It has sync features too. You should give it a try. If you like it, buy the gold version, it's really worth it.

foobar2000 is the best IMO. Highly customizable and the many features can be added with plugins. There's also iPod Manager plugin for syncing iPhones and iPods.
