They're not the ones deciding what goes on sale though. I don't know much about how Steam works so I may be wrong but I think the devs/studios are the ones deciding to put something up for sale.

This one actually had some titles I'd been meaning to buy, and the timing aligned with being able to add some Steam wallet. I'm pretty happy with it. It does seem like we get a lot of weekly sales now though.

Genuinely asking what is the point of these items?
- They are ugly and will never use them
- Takes up space in the already cr@pified inventory.
- Cannot sell them, cannot turn them into gems, cannot even destroy them.
My only guess is that ppl think about them as some kind of special Steam NFTish things which must be horded.
