Need help with Alienware M15x :-)

A friend of mine got that laptop, but after he reinstalled Windows 7, his 'Alienware' features don't work... Now its just working like a normal laptop with fresh Win7 installed.

So I have some questions and I hope someone could answer them.

**1. What Alien Respawn really do?

  1. Can I use it to bring the laptop futures back if I don't have a backup from the program?
  2. I read that you need an Alien Respawn boot CD. He have 2 CDs which idk what they really do. Can I use they for something?
  3. On the keyboard there are some buttons that don't work. Is there some specific drivers that could do the job and they can work again?
  4. Any other advice how to bring the laptop to his factory settings?**

Thanks! I know that I can use Google for that, but when I use I got more and more confused.

Hmmm, I think there's a CD containing all the drivers in the box. Ask your friend to check if it's there :P

I'll ask him tomorrow, since its pretty late right now. But I think the one is for Win7 installation and the other idk.. maybe drivers, but probly outdated since its a 2-3 years old model.

Even if it is 2-3 years outdated, can't you install the drivers using the disc, then update it?

I found a topic and some videos where you can return the laptop Factory Settings by the Alien Respawn and it will be like you first got it from the store and opened it. And in the topic there was special order how the drivers have to be installed. I think I'll try that one and we'll see.

PS: I'll probly go to his house tomorrow, so I'll try these steps and update the topic if everything went right.
