I intend to play Majesty Gold HD. This is a backlog game, has the "Classic" tag.
This game has an issue for some people, where the playtime is counted under a different game, Majesty Gold Edition, which is the original release (HD is a remaster). So I could play 10 hours of HD but its playtime will show as 0, and Majesty Gold Edition will show 10 hours. Some of the Steam reviews are pointing this out. Am I okay to change the entry on the PAGYWOSG website to whichever is being counted, or should I just pick something else?

I've been looking forward to trying this one, and I'm hoping it's my safety choice, as I'm pretty sure I can finish it. NOTE: I would not have guessed this game is "classic" but steam says tag:classic and who am I to argue?

Super Magbot is, as I feared, too hard. It has accessibility features that does make it quite a bit easier but then there's not much to the game at that point. I think I had imagined it was a combination precision platformer and puzzle platformer, but it's ONLY a precision platformer. I do not think I'll be finishing this one, sadly, tho the first 30 minutes were interesting at times.

Just won this one yesterday and decided to give it a go since it felt just like the right kind of nostalgia for me right now.
It's short but sweet. I only wished it was longer. There's a weird little platformer bit right at the end I'll probably never manage to complete so I can forget about the 100% but I even had fun during the credits so it's par for the course ;)

PAGYWOSG website could use some improvements. It looks like the Home page is supposed to link to the current month's event and all the previous months, but it has not been updated since August 2019. Also the Events page takes a while to load compared to other pages on the website. Final suggestion is adding a "favicon" that would be shown on tabs.

Hey Robby,
We are working on a completely new site (when I say we I mean moony XD) , since the one we have atm was not programmed by us and needs to be reworked anyways. So please don't expect many changes on the old site. As long as it works it is fine, since I rather would put the energy and time towards sth new than trying to fix sth that needs to be reworked.
We are aware that the site loades slowly, another reason for a new website. The one we have right now was never meant to run for 6 years+
It was the first time project of the devs and is not optimised.
The quickest way to get to the new event is by following the link in the OG post. If you want to switch between events change the number in the link.

ooh that's exciting, i figured i probably wasn't the first person to notice or bring it up but i never saw it mentioned before. my normal path to the event page is sg -> discussions -> search "play" -> PAGYWOSG thread -> event page

we did discuss it briefly on the discord server and you would have to ask moony, I think she was working on some features that would make approval easier and less time consuming.

As Care pointed out it already went through the first verification stage, where we check if it qualifies under the subcategory you picked and some other stuff. But since I did this in the middle of the night (perks of working night shift, when nothing is going on), Moony who is doing the other part of the approval (checking if it was beaten, if the achievements were gotten in order, checking the times, etc) was probably fast asleep. Would guess the approval will be done within today.

Hi, I think there is a typo in September's description. Both the website event and the SG discussion say "Game name starting with I, A, O", not including "C".

Also just BTW, two of the games I beat this month are "The Walking Dead" and "What Remains Of Edith Finch". I just noticed that the last achievement for "The Walking Dead" (proving that I beat the game) is called "What Remains". What a funny coincidence ๐

how amusing. seems like there ought to be an event based on game names or achievements that go together that way. Not that I can think of any examples off the top of my head so maybe it would be a very select set of eligible games.

Who can participate
Anyone who does not have any unactivated wins. You can participate even if you don't have any SteamGifts wins, see the "Have already completed all your wins?" below as it applies to this scenario too.
Extra Rules:
If it gives you one bundle of games with one steam ID then it depends. Do they each have achievements of their own (including an ending achievement)? Then go ahead and play them separately. Though make a note in the notes section, so we know what to look for. Non achievement games or games that play continuously (e.g. all entries play through without an ending between them) are not allowed atm since we do not have a good way to track them separately.
