Just pick the OKW/US/BF DLC, most of other DLC content can be earned fron loot box in game

Yea.
Win 1 match give you 2000 pionts, lose 1 match give you 1500 points. Every 6000 points give you a loot box, and you may earn a commander (rare), skin (common) or in-game currency(common) .

When you remove a game you are hiding it, you could try to "remove" that US DLC version, add this one, and re-add it again.

Thanks, I had to remove the entire HB package because they were under the same key. Added this then searched and added them back

From steam go to account details
-Click HELP at the bottom, then support
-Click Games, Software, etc
-Type 'Company of Heroes 2' in the search bar at the bottom
-Select the game you want to add back and click 'Its not in my library'
Steam will then remind you that you deleted this game and ask if you want to add it back

Since they're all tied to a single key they're added back together, I didn't have to search for each one

But it seems the cards don't drop if the MWNL5 key has already been redeemed from last year which added some DLC Stalingrad Pack.

It's unrelated, that only contains a DLC for the game. But you can try removing that sub temporarily if you are sure about it.

yes the sub you linked, i tried removing it from support page.
in fact i removed all COH2 content and then only added the base game.
still doesnt register as me purchasing the game.

anyway i posted in the dev's post asking for bug error reports. apparently many people have similar issues with different packages of COH2. link

Have you tried this?

This comment explains why it's like that. Most likely you claimed a free DLC even though you never bought the base game.

To fix it, go to the store page in your browser (not Steam itself), log in to your Steam account, press F12 and go to the Console tab of the window that pops up, paste AddFreeLicense('328549');, and hit enter.

The page should pop up a box that says the license has been added.

You can only do this while the game is free.

Or this if you are an ASF user.

yes indeed i tried using ASF but to no avail. Will try the browser method but have little hope for the same. Will update once I do.
