Games database update frequency ?

Hello !
I recently got my game released on Steam and would to give away some keys, but it is not available in giveaway game list.
So i was wondering, does anyone know how often the game list database is updated ? Is it daily ? Weekly ? Monthly ? Is there some manual process behind it ?
I'm checking every five minutes to see if my game appears, but i'm probably wasting my energy xD
I doubt someone know the answer, but i'm still asking.

I'd assume it updates once a day, since Steam updates its pricing data at a fixed time, and it presumably is designed to work off that. Pricing alterations aside, game status changes (eg, going to live-launch) sometimes seem to get delayed in reporting their new status, and I believe that's on Steam's end. Those seem to take a few days to resolve on their own.

If the game still doesn't show up on list after a bit, you can always put in a support ticket to get it manually added to the list.
Certain packages, as well as certain games in beta/early-access, may not show on the list without a manual update, given past evidence to that fact.
