Something you can use all apps with?

I know BlueStacks has a pretty good android player for PC, but it doesn't run all apps, and it doesn't have the full android interface.

For me, I use buildroid (http://androvm.org/blog/) running in VirtualBox. It's pretty fast if you have a powerful computer, and it supports most of the apps on Google Play.

I'll take a peek at Buildroid as well. I've tried BlueStack, but that one's hogging memory like there's no tomorrow. I also suspect it of causing BSODs on my system. Hope Buildroid isn't doing either of those ;)

+1, used BlueStacks to emulate Knights of Pen and Paper before it came to Steam.

I don't think that's actually possible, or if it is, it's very convoluted... Even if you emulate tilting your android device, how do you emulate multi-touch?

There are touch screens for more than phones you know. In any case I just wanted to try it out for some apps.

Sorry if I misunderstood something, but you asked for emulators on PC. I don't know about a lot of people using touch interfaces on this platform.

But anyways, yeah, that's pretty much the only thing it would possibly work on I think, or an iPhone or iPad. If you diss the multi-touch thing though, you limit yourself with a lot of apps, especially if you're looking for games. Still might be useful for trying stuff, so good luck with whatever you need to try.

I have Windroy, which is supposed to be a full port of Android to Windows. It run natively on Windows, so it's really fast. Too bad it's still in development. Here's their site. I think Windroy has a lot of promise though, once SocketeQ is finished with it.

I haven't really used it extensively, so I can't say if it works with all apps. The browser works though ^^

Doesn't Android SDK has a bundled Android Emulator?

http://www.bluestacks.com/
Works for all the android games from bundles I've tried on it, and a few various other apps. Also free, and is rootable.
