Unfortunately I can't say surprised, as I know this is something you've been considering for a while. As others have said, a break can actually be a good thing. Hopefully it will be for you, and when you're ready to come back, just do it. Don't feel like saying farewell obligates you to stay away. I've announced much more significant decisions in life and backed away when I realized they no longer meet my goals. Always do what's best for you at the time.

Keep your head up high, was nice chatting with you the few times we had a chance to... and thanks for all the generosity of yours ;).
