There is no set number of bundles, they release them as they go. Normally (not always) there is a game bundle on tuesdays at 6pm gmt.

There isn't any set number. New bundles are supposed to be posted on Tuesday 11 AM Pacific, but that's not guaranteed either. Sometimes they don't have a bundle ready on time and it gets posted at a random time later in the week, sometimes there's no bundle for a week, sometimes there's randomly multiple bundles in a week.

The monthly is being released at the first friday of each month.

and to add to cdr's comment: while they have sales going on/or the weeks leading to them, they sometimes have no (game) bundles for a couple of weeks at all...

I'm new to humble bundle so I don't entirely know how the bundles work in the sense of how many there running at all times. Is there always 6 bundles running or is that simply the maximum? I'm just wondering so i'm not always expecting there to be a new bundle that replaces an old one every time a bundle ends.
