Hey everyone,

So as chosen here the next giveaway is for Salt and Sanctuary.

Here is your puzzle to enter it. It's tougher than the last, but no where near impossible. I may be willing to drop hints on this if solving is slow. Lots of logic and stuff.

As I stated in the above thread, I'm also doing a second giveaway with a second puzzle. Completing this one will earn you a spot on my whitelist that I may or may not use at some point in the near or distant future. I honestly have no idea. Right now it's just something I feel like having in case I do want to make a giveaway using it.

Here is your puzzle for that. It is more difficult, but not impossible by any means. I will likely give hints on this one as the days past if I feel recruitment is slow. It should be relatively easy to do though.

Both giveaways will last until September 9 at about 11PM EST.

Both giveaways have rules from sg tools about activating wins, multiple wins and vac bans.

Good Luck.

EDIT:
Gubertuber has annihilated my puzzles and completed both in no time. I may have to create a near impossible puzzle just because of that.

HINTS:

There is a possibility that time differences make a difference for P2Q1, Try +/- one day if it's not taking your answers.

For those stuck on P2Q1, There are 5 different formats for the date that are accepted. Time is not necessary.

P1Q4: I have found 3 ways to continue the sequence that are immediately obvious to me. I know not everyone is great with mathematics however. It will take some logic, but it's not too difficult to figure out. It is a 3 part sequence, so make sure you are using the correct part of it.

Things P1Q4 is not:
d=a+7, e=b+7, f=c+7, ?=d+7 (15)
b=a+2, c=b-1, d=c^b, then + 2 -1, then ?=f^e
Does not use exponents at all

P1Q4 is less than 100
Each number only uses 1 other number and some equation to get to it. It will not use multiple previous numbers in the sequence.

Solved P1, stuck on P2Q1 (though I thought I knew the answer).
Can you please provide the format that you are looking for, as I am wondering if that it what is throwing me.
For example Month[full word] DD, or DD Mon[Abbr] or dd/mm/yy

Thanks

P1 Q4 needs to have a longer lead in to the answer since as-is there are multiple possible patterns (none of which I've tried worked).
P2 Q1 seems broken? I know the exact time of your cake day, down to the minute (anyone whose used SG for a while knows how to check this), but it always says the answer is wrong, even going forward/back one day.

Same about P2Q1,even converted to paciffic time, and says wrong

P1Q4 there are 3 possible ways to complete the sequence that I found immediately, one of them is correct. P2Q1, use the year as well.

I've removed the text, but I gave away neither the month, date or year, so how was that giving away your cakeday???

Gives away the formatting. That's what most people have struggled with and I'd like to keep it that way otherwise it's too obvious

OK, I give up. I don't even know how to learn my own cake day here let alone someone else's. I feel like Gollum when asked "What have I got in my pocket?"

You can find your registration date on your profile page (if you move your mouse over "7 months ago" you'll see the exact date and time)

q3 is a type of famous sequence you can try to find. Q4, don't use addition for the last number

P1Q4-Not integer? or not positive? or together?) Idk,maybe my pc lags somehow make itstoohard show wrong wrongly, but tried 0-99

It is not a whole number and is negative. Thousandths place is the third decimal place w.xyz the z would be the thousandths. You have to actually evaluate it

Q4,not Q1) U sure that u didn't mistaken?)

Oh, yeah I'm sure it's not a mistake. It's definitely a number under 100, and an integer.

Mate there are only so many hints I can give. I don't know what else to tell you. Everything I've given you should at least make it possible to brute force it if you can't figure it out.

P2 Q1: Is there an order to write the cake day? I tried as it is displayed.

P1 Q1: I don't know if I have to write the number on the 1000th place or the result of the root (sorry for my English)
