What to do with GTA V? Dilemma :(

Obviously you need to be extra careful if you trade for an expensive game like GTA V, but if you use some common sense I don't see why you shouldn't trade for it. I've seen it for 16 keys from traders I would personally trust (there are quite a lot of offers for that price, seems like it's worthwhile if bought from the Canadian store), so you can safe quite a lot, depending on where you live. Just make sure that

• the trader has a public account that doesn't look fishy (eg he has 500+ games and is 1+ years active on Steam)
• the trader has a lot of rep
• the trader's rep was aquired over a long period of time
• the people that gave him rep are active on Steamtrades as well (just check a few people and you should quickly find some well known Steamtrades users and people with old Steam accounts and lots of games among them, which would be a good sign)
• The people who already bought GTA from him (look at his thread and compare to rep) gave positive rep and are not fake either
• if someone is cheaper than 95% of the other traders better don't trade with him - better reputation is obviously more important than saving another 2-3 keys in a case like this

But like someone above me already said - if you are not desperate to play the game then just wait. It will become a lot cheaper and after the horrible GTA 4 release it would be a crime to preorder GTA 5 imo. They first need to prove that they learned something.

How about Using middleman service, over Steamrep site? Also like anyone said in above, it would be wise to wait and see how's the games works after release.

Wait until it's released. Seriously, you have absolutely no reason to pre-order that game.
With Rockstar games, don't take a chance, wait until it's released, and get it for far cheaper.

Remember what happened with South Park The Stick of Truth preorders? Don't trade.

Be patient, young grasshopper. You will be able to own game for a fraction of its current price, soon enough. Think Summer Sale....

I hate you guys for even thinking of eventually getting this piece of overpriced crap, especially after what the company did last time to you (and will do again this time).

If you want the real GTA experience get GTA2 (which is even free).

Just wait. It's a pretty good game, but who knows how the PC port will be.

Buy Saints Row instead.

i honestly did not care for this game all that much. the main characters were all annoying as hell. the music was awful when driving around in a car & the location was not that interesting, but those are all my own opinions. i personally rather them do a GTA outside of the states. i did like IV way more than this game. Saints Row & Sleeping Dogs kept my interest more than GTA V. i would have rather them put out Red Dead on Steam than this game.

I preordered it for $70.00 CAD... I hope it'll be good I've been so hyped for this. I think you should buy it using keys though, I checked around yesterday and people were selling copies that aren't from china for 23tf2 keys.

I am waiting, when it will be released, I will wait for some reviews to see how it performs, if it is good, I will buy it with KEYS.

If you want to preorder it just for that 1M $, nah, I don't like this, I want to start from 0$. xD And that free game, nah thx.

Wait till GTA V gifts become tradable and then you don't have to rely on trust and just trade keys for GTA V at the same time.
