Since they introduced this system(Auto buy) I noticed that the prices are dropping since people don't have to wait and refresh to get a lower price. I think this new system will bite Valve in the ass eventually as it will lower the prices to minimal(I see badges going for $0.2-$0.3 in the future).

Seeing as morikalina dropped two games here already, it would only be fair I drop something at least.. But I don't want it to be tooooo easy so I decided on a scavenger hunt. Maybe you can find the game here.

Tip: Look for my posts(Clearly).

Well, not all cards received the system yet I guess but those that did, I bought the entire badge for about $0.1 less than what clicky showed and those prices are based on the current lowest sell price.
For example, I bought the CS:GO badge for $0.44 while the above site shows it as $0.6 most of the time.

Prices are dropping because there is many cards and less buyers. Simple rule of supply and demand. Same thing was last year with old market system.

There are no less buyers.. There are more, logically. I crafted really few badges before this sale and I assume a lot more people did as well. I had 12 badges less than what I have now and the sale isn't over yet.

You get a card when you craft a badge which means you get about $0.2 back for every badge you craft.

67448 selling vs 28327 buying card no 1 for example. Just too many cards so prices are dropping. Many people get cards but they don't craft anything and just put it on market.

I am not talking about the summer sale cards mate, they drop because there are less buyers(People got sick of it) and the sale is coming to an end in 2 days. Talking about all the other cards.

Oh, my bad. I thought new system is only for summer sale cards. :-)

"...are many cards and fewer buyers."

Fixed it for you.

If you are trying to be a grammar nazi troll, you should at least avoid fixing what doesn't need fixing. "Less buyers" is actually correct, less buyers than cards offered.

No, he's correct, less is improper grammar in that context. It should be fewer.

I do appreciate being corrected when I'm wrong, so don't stop trying to be helpful. Just check double-check your correction, next time.

I agree, cards are selling for less.

Foil I am selling right now is 88 cents, couple days ago it was at 1.50....

Did they actually sell at 1.50 though? Just because someone lists at a price it doesn't mean that someone is buying at that price. As I've said before, something is only worth as much as someone will actually pay for it.

Exactly! This will prevent most steam market bot snatching low prices in a blink

Too bad it only applies to commodity items

I think this system will get more people to use the market and ultimately spend MORE money.

Valve know what they're doing!
