I've been off Steam for almost a year guys and I noticed something weird. Many games are unavailable to buy - they don't have "buy" option available. For example, whole catalogue of Shaman Games - for example this game. What is up with that? It's not like one or two games but quite a number and it's annoying to be honest, I'd like to buy some games that are impossible to buy anymore. Any reason?

Regional pricing maybe? As far as I know, if the developer or publisher (don't know which one :\ ) doesn't set a price in a region for a game, it won't be available for purchase.

This game is available to buy, so probably your region got its own currency recently and some studios didn't set prices for their games

Might be your location as I could see a buy button. I'm in the USA

Some developers haven't updated their pricing after the latest currencies have been added. You can check on steamDB - game you linked, for example

Ahh, that must be it. Still sucks, devs should be either forced to do that or Steam should set their own prices after some time.

Sadly this is a pretty common issue for the countries included in the last batch of added currencies, all we can do is hope for the devs to fix it soon (or ask them politely/annoy the crap out of them).

I think contacting the devs would be the best option and stating that it's currently impossible to buy in region x, because my guess would be that they simply missed this change from valve.

I could bet they want to sell games :D
