Title quite says it all.
Are there any similiar ones ?
I love Torchlight 2 and with few addons its great.
PoE I was playing with 3 friends we quite rush it till the end still great game tho.

I was trying Diablo 3 few days ago I kinda like it maybe when I get some cash I will buy it. (I was always sucker for Blizzard games). Only problem is I heard everyone went to RoS so 40euros minimum to spend D:

Played through the first part and enjoyed it up to the cliffhanger ending (minus some padded out levels and the final boss...). I'll grab the second part on sale soon enough. Recommended Diablo clones for sure.

Have heard of Divinity: Original Sin? It's similar to them, but it has a turn based combat, but it's really, really fucking good.

The 2.1 patch for Diablo 3 just deployed and it dramatically improved the game! You will definitely want the RoS expansion as you mention though.

they can patch D3 as much as they want to ... it will still be bad

Yeah, it's just a run-through once kind of game now, with some serious blunders like that 20 minutes act iv (?). Should be a third person action RPG in that respect. This way it just bores the hell out of you requiring multiple playthroughs with nothing behind them.

Lol @BG & GW. How are they even remotely close to Diablo or Torchlight? Might as well say Warcraft 3.

OP is looking for Hack&Slash ARPGs. BG and GW really aren't in the same genre.

Might as well call it your negative attitude for throwing games clearly out of context in this thread. Hijacking at best.

Give Dungeon Siege a try, it doesn't use the isometric camera these games use but that allows it to have more dynamic worlds.

ArcheAge, Rift, Baldur's Gate I & II. Even though the Dev's for "Kingdoms of Amalur: Reckoning" aren't around anymore, there are a few DLC's & It's a great fun RPG as well. I've also been playing Ascend: Hand of Kul as well. Pretty fun once you get past the first couple of ascends, and you get a bit stronger. Of course there's DAO-"Dragon Age: Origins", The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim, Dark Souls I & II, plus the new Fable & the revamped Gauntlet are due to release soon. I should be getting Divinity: Original Sin soon, looks great as well. Haven't played Risen I, II, or III yet, but I have heard good things. Been really enjoying The Witcher series. I've had Mount and Blade for a while and have yet to play it, I hear it's good anyhow. Well there's a few from my list of good RPGs similar to the ones mentioned. Forgot about Archlord 2 and a few I play through ARC Games client like Forsaken World, Swordsman is new and fun, & of course Neverwinter. Hope this helps some.

How do these games relate to Path of Exile or Diablo? They don't even relate to each other and even less to the games in question.

Huh? He isn't looking for just RPG's, he is looking for games like Diablo.

Comment has been collapsed.

So yeah. Diablo is the only point & click listed. Sorry but the games listed are RPGs. I've only been playing them for, well let's just say years. If he wanted a point & Click he wouldn't of added POE & Torchlight. I play those 2 as well as Runes of Magic & LoL as well as the ones I listed which all have similar config as well as game play basics. So excuse me if I want to help the guy.

So basically, for you, all games (and softwares to that extent) are point & click, because you know... you point & click stuff with your mouse?

News Flash, PoE and Torchlight are hardly different from Diablo in their core mechanics, unlike ArcheScam, BG, Rift or Skyrim. If you can't see that, you might as well play Excel.

Uhh, what?

Mate, there's a pretty significant difference between RPGs and ARPGs.

You just listed a bunch of games that are only related by being RPGs, but have nothing in common with Torchlight/PoE/Diablo core gameplay.

Those games are the best ARPGs (PoE and Torchlight).
You can try Marvel Heroes, its also free and fun, if you like the theme.

Other games of the genre are poor, except Titan QUest, but its a bit old. It was a great game back in the Diablo II times.
From the Titan Quest creators, Grim Dawn is currently in early access, keep an eye on that for release.

Also Van Helsing is fun, but dont expecto the same as Torchlight or Poe, it doesnt have replayability at all. You can have 3-4 days of fun with it though.
Shadows Heretic Kingdoms is other game in early access, but dont expect too much on it too.
Gauntlet (release in a couple weeks) will be similar in a way, but its other genre.

And also, you can try Sacred 1 or 2, lso old games. I dont like them, but they appeal to many people too.

There are some games more, but low in quality (lesabel, Legends of Persia, etc).

ALso a fun mix between monkey island and Diablo could be the Deathspank saga, but they are for one play only.

Titan Quest is amazing, Van Helsing is pretty damn cool and the Fate franchise is an oldie, but still a fun one.

DIn's Curse , especially if you can get and the DLC. You can make your own class(using 2 skill trees from other classes) and then go with you buddies into a random generated town to complete quests and after you are done in the town you can go to the next one. Not recommended to solo play so get it only if you have friends to play with.

Titan quest, i enjoyed the game though never finished it 'cause lost my savegame on my laptop and i'm using a desktop now...

Torchlight, beat the first one, got the second but haven't played yet. It's probably worth the money aswell.

Btw RoS can be bought for half that price if you buy from a key reseller like me. I bought game + RoS a little over 40€ when RoS was about to release.

You could play Diablo 1 with WoW-Models in Starcraft 2. It's a mod called Diablo - Mortal Shroud and you can find it on Starcraft 2 Arcade.

If you're looking for action with rpg features, 4 player co-op and lots of loot then I'd suggest Borderlands 2 because it's awesome.

If you're however looking specifically for isometric hack and slash action rpg then I'd go for the new Sacred I guess or maybe Van Helsing or Dungeon Siege 3.
