You could use ASF to check them, but only with keys for games you already own (otherwise they would be redeemed on your account).

And how does that help to know if they are used if he doesnt redeem them? :)

Steam tells you that you already have the game if the key can be redeemed.
If the key is used already, you will have the duplicate game message instead.

Are you sure? I thought it just said already owned.

Like I thought, I tried a dupe key that I owned and it says: "Status: Fail/AlreadyPurchased | Items: [72889, Vendetta - Curse of Raven's Cry]"

Ok my bad :/
I was sure that I got a duplicate message one time for a game I owned.

I thought ASF could tell you even if you own it (but I haven't tried it)

ASF can't do anything that's not provided by steam itself

That's not working. Even for duplicate / already used keys it just tells you that you own the game.

Got the same problem, there should be a bot which has every game on steam to check it for you :/

Steam first checks if the key is valid (not if it's used or not, just if it's a valid key) --> if not, it will say invalid key.
Then it checks if you own the game --> if you do, it will say that, and if you don't, it will check if the key has been used.
So no, there is no way to check if a key has been used without trying to activate it on an account that doesn't already own the game.

no way to check if they are valid.
if you aren't sure those keys work, idle them on an alt, drop them in a thread, or give them to a friend. easiest way to get rid of them.
