I thought it will be something like - don't use W11, don't play ACV and vice versa
BTW how can you enjoy the game before you deleted it?

It still stands in my opinion, for more games than just ACV. Some people still report issues with games such as COD and it's anticheat having issues on W11 and some with Denuvo. Microsoft has failed to really address these in the 1 year the OS has been out, and the fact that it took them this long to push the first major (--H_) update for it is quite embarrassing. Used it for 2 days before I realized that it's not worth the trouble in it's current state (had issues with the page file, apps kept freezing, games refused to run, even the ones made by MS themselves, automatically installing outdated drivers, all of these being on a machine well comfortable running 11 as it has a modern CPU and TPM 2.0). I shouldn't have the modify the OS to the point that you can't really call it W11 anymore (StartAllBack, older explorer look, right click leading to the extended menu, debloating due to all of the awful garbage, like seriously, why do you need to install Teams automatically on both 11 AND 10) to have a experience that feels polished. In the end it's just unnecessary to exist in Microsoft's Windows line, as it's just W10 at the core but with flashy features and a way over the top system requierment.

I remember having issues with this game on 12th gen of Intel. This game had a lot of technical issues for most PC players.

It's a game I have on my backlog as well. Played the heck out of all the games, including the chronicles series. Really happy to hear your excited for this title. Who will you play as male or female Eivor?

Heh that's always such a weird question when using the name. It's like asking "will you play as male or female Janet?"

Well that's because they used the name which is unisex. It sounds more masculine to me, but that's just my personal opinion. What about you?

Well they were sneaky and used a name that doesn't feel feminine to give themselves cover but Eivor is a female name, that's why I was using Janet.
This being said, I tend to play games canonically first anyway so I am about halfway through it as "female Eivor" and will most likely play a run as the male character later, unless his voice acting is too bad, like MaleShep.

Male Eivor apprently has a much better voice than the female one

I guess I'll see that for myself. I tried to stay away from gameplay videos. I like the female voice acting so far. So I don't know if this comes from actual opinions or the usual pissing about when a female character is the protagonist in a game but if the male actor is good too, then it's fine with me.

MaleShep's acting was just so bad I couldn't do a full playthrough of Mass Effect with him, especially not when compared with Jennifer Hale's acting. I think he was not necessarily a bad actor but he was so focused on sounding tough, he just was forgetting how to act. Confidence was the main problem I assume.

I didn't feel that way with Cecilie Stenspil's acting so far. I do like that they hired scandinavian actors for Eivor though and I'm naturally curious so I'll play both.

I liked Male Shepard. I also kept his face default as I envisioned him like that, besides, character customization was just not as strong as I wanted it to be. So instead of having them look like monkeys, I kept it default.

What's your thoughts on Bayek, from AC Origins?

Tell me about it! I spent about 4 hours to get to a Female Shepard I liked.

He was great imo. Probably some of the best acting in the franchise. I think I read he went to LAMDA, so I wasn't surprised he was good but I was surprised by how emotional the character's journey ended up being.

Now Alexios on the other hand... oh brother!

Only MMORPG's keep me 1-2 hours to create a character. I don't struggle so much because ideally I know how I want my character to look like. I pretty much standardize that in all my games, unless I want to represent myself in the game, which rarely happens.

Without a doubt. I really enjoyed him as a character and really climbed up as one of the best Assassin's (character wise) after playing Origins. Out of all the recent entries, Origins has been my favorite for the setting and the performance of Bayek. That doesn't mean I've not enjoyed Greece and Alexios after playing 280+ hours lol.

Malaka... 🤣 It took me 150 Hours to start to appreciate him in the game and not mind the way he talked. I think it was when the story started opening up as I like to explore every nook and cranny on open-world games like AC, so I tend to do the main campaign much later in the game, being my finishing act before I conclude a game is 100% complete. I don't like to finish a game, story wise, and revisit the game to 100% the map or objectives as that's becoming quite boring for me to do even if I enjoy the game a lot.

I think for me 1 run is enough. Considering how long this game can be. I play games chronologically too, but sometimes I play them on the date of release. I prefer to see the graphics and sometimes gameplay change for the better.

PS: Happy Cake Day!

Definitely very long although I'm not going to complain when I enjoy a game.

Windows 11 is the first OS in a while I refused to test or install. I will probably be the last to upgrade, and even then I'll be kicking and screaming.

It's actually expected. I feel it's because the first coming after a good Windows in general feels like beta testing it, since there's not much features to really support it. Windows 12, should build itself easily on top of Windows 11 and carry a much more well defined package than it.

When Windows 10 came out, I was worried it would be as bad as Windows 8, but I'm glad that this whole saga continues like this. At least we have consistency.
