Game isn't available in my country, one of a few I guess.
I also heard that amazon copy has to be activated with US VPN.
Does anyone knows if steam store versions from germany or russia also require vpn to activate?

I don't think Amazon key have the GOTY version. And it's not region locked.

I bought Dark Souls (not available in my region) key from Amazon few weeks ago. Didn't have use VPN.

Valve wrote "we can delete account for using VPN". But, there's no report of anyone getting his account killed for activating games, only buying from Russia using VPN was reported as ban-able offence.

Ofc I dont plan to risk with VPN im just asking since a few guys already posted on other forums that regular version of AC from amazon requires US VPN. Something like Dead Island GOTY that was on amazon. I gave up on amazon offer. Im asking about steam store versions, do they need VPN to activate?
