So what are good items to get on TF2 now with value in future?

Me like an idiot never payed attention to the different promos and never got certain items because of it. Bored I decided to check tf2 to see how much some of these items are worth now.

Earbuds alone surprised me because I got them and just traded them off to a friend without thinking when they were first released. Are there any promos right now that would be good?

Earbuds and Bills will always hold their value. Max head however is dropping in value slowly.

Actually, the value of Bill's Hats dropped and the value of Earbuds rose. Max Heads seem to have stopped dropping at this point, but they have definitely lost a lot of value.

Big Kill and Lugermorph are still worth something decent, but yea the whole Max set has been slowly losing value. Now that they've made promos 'genuine' and let people get non-genuine copies from regular drops, I predict that promo items will never be as valuable as they once were. Now you gotta get unusual hats, and oh hey look at that, a $2.50 key right there in the store for you. You know you want it. Come on, just ONE crate.

well individual unusuals lose value as they become common, but the newly released unusuals are always worth the most. You just gotta keep buying keys!

Also HOUWAR is gonna be a pretty big ticket item forever, which i forgot to mention.
