I have no idea, I'd probably go with the safer option of the old version (though the Steam page clearly states that it includes the remastered version).
And I think it's good that you finally clean out your old bundle libraries and make some GAs, even if it's just a few :D

I don't see what's the big issue being such an awesome giver of gifts, addicted or otherwise.
