Me too, saw the Witcher 2 sale but didn't realise the first one was on sale as well :(

its not that horrible it just takes time to get used to it

disagree, i actually found the combat to be immensely satisfying to watch. its not overly challenging, but the combat animations and chained movements look fantastic. to say its horrible is just childish, when theres much worse combat out there

witcher 1 still are better than many new rpg games and fighting is allmost like in batman games where you just need to timing those attacks

and yes it is worth to buy and steam key can use to gog site and you can download drm free game with all those bonus too
