Look for COD World at war ZombieX on YT.

It starts with 60 people (10% zombie) if the zombie make a kill then the player becomes a zombie. Verry nice game play and never seen it again..... The server is still online but with only a few folks.

Sorry for my bad English. It's not my native language.

Before the game starts you can choose to play with whatever character you want on the map and each one has their randomly generated story and abilities. The game starts in Skyrim perod but you can see civilisation evolving if you find a way to live long engouth. Map is like a planet so there are no invisible walls. No respawns.
also i wish it would cost 2.99 and ability to play other games ingame, also multiplayer would be nice

Hmm... My dream game would have to have an open world and A LOT of places for me to explore. Some villages and towns with friendly people that you could help out, a house you can buy and decorate, even become a person of great influence (like a jarl in Skyrim), horses and other glorious creatures, both everyday and fantasy ones (some of which you'd be able to tame) would be a must.
There'd also have to be an amazing story driving the whole thing and, like in DA:O, you'd be able to choose what your origins are and then you'd be able to make your on destiny. Be it to be a simple farmer or a great hero. Like in Skyrim, being able to have a family would be great, but I'd like there to be more interactions and for the thing to have a flow to it- the kids grow up, find their own destinies and so on. Also, as in DA:O having friends that have their own stories and interact amongst each other and with you in different ways would be just perfect. Fist and scrollable third person view would be a must.

Basically I think it'd be something like a Witcher / DA:O / Skyrim / The Longest Journey crossover + life / farming sim xD

A game with Mass Effect 2's experience system, Fallout 2's skill system, and Deus Ex 1's freedom in solutions in approaches.

Or a game with Age of Empire 2's level of civ choices with Total Annihilation's UI and unit variety, Ground Control: Dark Conspiracy's game play, with Company of Heroes' level of AI.

Or an XCOM remake that uses the visuals and fluidity of XCOM: Enemy Unknown and the complexity and plethora of options of XCOM: Ufo Defense (or UFO: Enemy Unknown, depending on where you live).

Or a remake of Final Fantasy VI in the spirit of the upcoming FFVII Remake.

There are already great games around, so today I'll dream about a rather average game which can be made to be an amazing one. The game is To the Moon. At its current state I give it 6.5/10, but I think it has great potential. These are the changes I'd like to see in a remake with a larger budget:

Extreme changes:

  • Switch to a modern graphic engine, with 3rd person perspective, highly detailed maps, characters and objects and proper human mechanics/motion. The current pixelated 640x480 view is sort of a turn off, and is probably one of the main reasons why people don’t finish the game (or why many of those who got it in a bundle didn’t even bother to play it). Think how nice indie games like Contrast or Brothers – A Tale of Two Sons look. Now imagine the story of To the Moon presented in such a way. Wow.
  • Replace the dialog bubbles with actual voice acting, and add cut-scenes with two or more camera angles and, where needed, close ups on characters. Tomb Raider series uses this effectively. There are many others, though probably nothing with a budget similar to that of To the Moon. The Cat Lady probably didn't have budget much larger than To the Moon, but has amazing voice acting.

Tweaks:

  • Make physical memory links and mementos easier to find (e.g. make them glimmer). Scanning a scene with the mouse trying to find memory links doesn't provide very good gameplay. It feels like work, especially in the larger outdoors maps.
  • Get rid of the tile-flipping puzzles. These don't make much sense and aren’t any fun. A better alternative would be to present close ups of memory links (including their name) and have some animation that shows the machine automatically linking them (or find an interesting and sensible way for the player to link them).
  • Unify the Memento Configure and Activate dialogs. I can’t think anyone ever chooses to cancel these dialogs, so why repeat asking?
  • Have a different color for dialog bubbles (per character). This would make it easier and quicker to follow the dialog. Another option is to move the name of the character inline the text, like in a play or a script.
  • Display the full content of Notes in the main game screen (as they are collected). What’s the point of having to switch out to the Notes screen to read them, when usually they are just one-liners?

So there you have it, my dream game is based on a game I didn't really like. Isn't this odd?

So, essentially, your dream "game" is a CGI movie adaptation of To the Moon.

Gothic-like gameplay in Fallout-like world.
Tomb Raider or Assassin Creed like platformer in huge open world like Horizon Zero Dawn (I mean buildings destroyed by nature).
GTA-like game, where you are detective in noir style - with great dialogs and climate please.
Open world RPG, where you are the dragon. (I of the dragon and Divinity 2 came close, but maps were waaaaay to small.)

Every game i mentioned must have great story and huge amount of secrets.

And that's just a few of my ideas ;)

I had pretty high hopes for this game, and wasn't disappointed. There is a lot of driving around the city, some chases, on foot too. A little bit of shooting. A lot of thinking, gathering evidence, and trying to decide who is lying(everybody lies). As for noir atmosphere - it's all there!

I still haven't finished the game myself, fell out of the proper mood... Waiting for it to return :)

And yeah - Gothic-like game in Fallout world... I'd bang. Hard. Especially if it was Gothic 1 style, meaning the world was actually harsh, game pretty difficult. Or... I'm playng Dark Souls lately(almost 200h hours in like a month, yep, I got addicted to it...). And it makes me think... Fallout game but Dark Souls style... With such hard, completely unforgiving combat... Yummy :D

Hm, really hard to say. I like so many different genres that it would be hard to nail it down to just a single one. But anyway, here's one example:
It would be a low-fantasy or hard sci-fi open world CRPG that has NPCs that actually have proper "lives". Things happen in the world naturally, and you get to influence them. New "quests" will be generated based on what's going on in the world.
The important difference from what we have today would be the NPCs who would not just awkwardly wander around following a semi-set path, but what they do would be directly influenced by what's currently going on in the world. So as long as nothing special happens, people will go about their daily lives. When major events happen, they'll respond in an appropriate (non scripted) way. The game will also have a working ecosystem, which players & NPCs can influence.
Also, you should be able to influence the landscape. If you say want to order the construction of a road, then there will be a road there, if you build a mine, well then there is a hole in the mountain and so on.
So basically it would be a mix between Mount & Blade, Skyrim, The Witcher 3, Daggerfall, the ambitions of Ultima 9 (but not the game Ultima 9), Minecraft, Dwarf Fortress, New Vegas, The Sims and probably a few other games that I've forgot.

Yeah... That's what we all dream of. Especially a big-ass sci-fi game. I would add space travel to it, Several planets, complete freedom, and huge immersion based on what you said - trully living world. I need to change my shorts now...

Ever since Saving Private Ryan and the first Medal of Honor game I dreamed of a MMO FPS scenario for Omaha Beach with hundreds or even thousands of players on the same server.

Most of them attacking Allied forces, few defending Axis forces. Game lasting for as long as it takes. No respawns, no reconnects, when you're dead you're out. You might last several hours, but if you're unlucky you might be out within the first 5 seconds.

Ok, so, I have two dream games:

  1. You're in a New York sized city (later you have multiple cities to choose from) and you have to survive a Godzilla-like creature attack.

    • It's an FPS
    • You have to try to escape or wait out it's attack, hoping that it'll be killed by the military, or it will leave (The military will use different strategies each time and sometimes they might be successful, also, the budget that the military will get for the situation will vary)
    • There would be about 50 types of creatures that get chosen randomly to attack you
    • You'll have a small period of time before the actual attack happens with some cash, depending on where your character used to work at. The money could be used for some TV airtime, to warn people about the attack, but you'd be questioned by the police, but at the same time more people might survive.
    • There are other survivors with different attitudes towards you and others. There would be an astronomical chance of finding a family member and they might want to work together with you, or maybe not, if you didn't get along.
    • If you had a wife, children, or anyone else living with you, they'd follow you, or they might take the lead and you would have to work with them if you wanted to.
    • Every time you make a character, you would see a bit of text describing each year of your character's life before the attack. So you could see how some things affected your life.
    • Sometimes your race might play a part in the way some characters react to you (Also sexuality and so on.)
    • And the most important part: The monster is not killable by a single man. (ie. A mechanic couldn't kill Mothra)
    • Also, there could be a zombie outbreak version of this, where the variables would come in with the idea of where the outbreak started and if it was contained.
  2. It would basically be GTA, but more like real life.

    • They'd design a city after a real one, so the buildings were real etc.
    • Everything that you do would have consequences.
    • The A.I. people would die permanently. (a.k.a. a realistic number of people, no more spawns)
    • Killing someone would be mostly a rare occurance, since in real life you wouldn't be able to get away with killing 100 people with a flamethrower.
    • Everytime there's a crime, there would be a proper investigation
    • You could do almost any job, given that it's available to take.

So yeah, these would be my games. Probably expecting too much, but they are dream games after all. :)
