Quality 80s electronic pop, randomly went through my vinyl collection a short while ago and decided to revisit.

Uhhh.... Yeah, I love one hit wonders! ':D
There are lots of them I enjoyed but the first one that came to mind and thus my favourite would be Len - Steal My Sunshine from the very entertaining movie Go.
but then again there's also the Bananafishbones feat. Franka Potente ':D... did I mention I love one hit wonders?

Nice :D I like upbeat, happy songs like that and am always surprised how much they can influence my mood ^^
Edit: Idk. Maybe I should give Mr. Robot another chance... #🤔 I'm a huge fan of Christian Slater because my favourite movie is True Romance and the show itself was not too bad neither but in the long run their disdain for normal people was just too much for me to take.

I think I stopped watching after a scene where they were talking about a waiter who just served them. (Maybe around Ep. 6 I guess, but as I said I might pick it up again)
I mean I suppose (some) people from the tech industry are a little bit peculiar, specially the higher ups, but when I watched Silicon Valley it didn't make me wanna kill each and every single one of them ':D
On the other hand I quite liked that scene where they are watching and making fun about that old Hacker movie with Angelina Jolie and then somebody says "I wonder which movie or TV show will completely distort this generations view of hacking." and look directly into the camera ':D

You're in the army now by Bolland & Bolland
The version by Status Quo is what made the song famous a few years later though.
I was reminded of it's existence when I stumbled upon the Laibach version.
Or maybe you prefer the song with a bit more Metal, such as this version by Sabaton.

Hang on.... This song is not universally known?
I'm not a particularly big music geek and it feels it was played up and down on radio all my youth ':D
Granted, I am indeed from Europe.

Most songs people are posting are either ones I still listen to regularly (who needs post-1990 music anyway?), or ones I never wanted to hear in the first place...
However, a little digging through the vinyl I rarely get back to gives me I Wanna Be Sedated.

So I'm at work, packing internet orders as we aren't officially open. I'm listening to my SiriusXM app, specifically the Hair Nation channel when a song I haven't heard in YEARS came on by chance on a top 11 list for that year of music.
Song was Extreme: Do You Want to Play.
I LOVE that song! Have any of you heard a song recently that you haven't heard in years and forgot about?
