Problem with games in account (Borderlands free weekend)

Hello everyone I have tried to participate to Borderlands Giveaways, but because it is already in my account i cant, however i never bought XD In my account profile seems to be present when there was the free weekend. After Synching Account the problem persists. What can do? thanks.

Old issue. Guest passes and free weekends fuck up how we gather your game data. We're looking into a fix, but nothing's come up yet. I think, but don't know for sure, that it fixes itself after two weeks.

In two weeks a Borderlands giveaway will be over :(
Funny thing though - I can enter for GOTY version of Borderlands. And a user by accident created Borderlands giveaway, although it is GOTY edition.

Not that funny really - they do have different Steam game ID, as they're different games.

But I think there will never be a solution for this issue, unless Valve sets separate game ID for free-weekend games. Otherwise there's no way to tell.

So it means if someone has a base game he can enter to win GOTY edition too, right?
