Wanting to start a gaming community,,

In my opinion there are already far too many gaming 'communities' out there that all offer the same thing. People will always stick to using the most popular and trusted ones, therefore you need to be innovative if you want to attract people. I myself have an idea that I'm working on, but it's not very easy to realise.

are you sure about this? There's a lot of sites where people read news and discuss games.

Ya i kinda wanna make my own. Ill make a place where people can giveaway games.

Just creating a generic gaming community like everywhere else won't bring anything, it would be a complete waste of time unless you have something that would stand out from others. But still good luck nonetheless.

Good intentions but there are already communities like this and standing out to make people join this community instead of established ones won't be easy.
