I forget, was there recently a Free Weekend with the game? If so, it could very well be an artifact from that occurrence, especially given how long it usually takes for those things to stop being present on your account details after the free weekend has passed.

Something similar happens with the Evolve Season Pass as well: http://www.steamgifts.com/giveaway/9SV9e/evolve-hunting-season-pass
It says "Missing Base Game" even though I pre-ordered the game. I also played the Big Alpha and the Closed Beta.

Right, it isn't a bug with SteamGifts. This has been around for ages, and its all on Valve's end. During the free weekend, there is nothing that indicates a free weekend game is different from anything you own. That can stick around for a while on your account, even after the free weekend has ended.
The only way this can be changed is if Valve changes how they work.

I'm trying to enter a giveaway but it says I already have the game, but I don't.
The game in question is Saint's Row IV - http://www.steamgifts.com/giveaway/k7NUw/saints-row-iv
My account is synced properly, so it's clearly a bug.
Anyway, great job with the new SG. I'm digging the new layout and was waiting for this new version since last year when you guys first announced.
