a small apartment or house most likely, if you count all my consoles and games

This isn't a question I can answer truthfully and still feel good about myself :(

I have spent roughly NZ$15000 on games and hardware in the last 10 years.
How about now?

I'm a bloody Kiwi, not a bloody Aussie.
Would be an L&P statue instead.

Forget that, just regular Tim Tams would be fine. Thousands of them.

Ouch :) I don't want to add up the numbers, but I'm guessing my $$$ wouldn't be too far off that either, hardware included.
All adds up to several underprivileged kids I could have helped get an education, and a huge boost to their life prospects...
If I spend too much time reflecting on this, I feel like a pretty terrible person :(

Without games, I could have lived on that alone for a year and a bit.

It is for me. Unemployment is only $13000 a year, and I get by on a bit less than that obviously. :P
Really need a job though, would really boost my income.

Do you know how annoying it is to clean up after one?

I would have bought a shiny new PC to play the games I bought. Wait a minute...

Know its not the same(No screen) but if you want a nice one and cheap Monoprice does well good and doesn't charge inflated prices like Wacom(Scammers, they also make there stuff to break easy).

Haven't heard of Monoprice before, will look into them in depth. I own a small Wacom Bamboo, it's doing a good job, just the surface is kinda wearing away. Thanks for the advice :D

No problem, I had a bamboo, I can tell you for sure that this thing is way more precise and way cheaper9Not to mention the surface isn't as slippery), my Bamboo pen died after a year of light use(Seriously only used the thing maybe 20 times max to touch up photos), apparently if you drop it lightly onto a rug the coils inside tend to break...then they charge 40-50 bucks for a replacement pen, so I just took that 50 and bought a Monoprice one, best thing I could have done.
Anyways good luck, hope yours lasts longer, if it does go the Monoprice is worth it.

you just need to be more carefull with your stuff --'
I used my bamboo daily (but I'm more into traditional drawing)
and it's still going good

Thats good to hear, maybe I got a dud, but I literally dropped it 3-4 feet onto a carpet once, guess I have to be ridiculously careful...O_o.
Google brings up the same complaints.. Sadly that fix didn't work for me, but making something this damn delicate and cost that much is bad on them if you ask me. Maybe the newer ones better...I had the old bamboo.

Yeah well my experience was opposite, googled it, seems I am not the only one, glad yours is going strong though...but it felt like I flushed 150 bucks down the toilet and it still angers me to this day.
No need to go grammar police on me also...this is the internet, not a book report or a formal letter, as long as you can understand me I see no issue.

I think I could have afforded to raise a dog or a cat.
