How do you searching for a new music bands, soundtracks, OSTs, etc?
I gave it a shot and couldn't find anything on this song either. It's not on any of the song finder databases.

This might be a song written especially for this spot, it's quite popular for a few years now. I was in similar situation when I was looking for a song from Coca Cola add a few years ago, only to find out it was 30 seconds sample made only for this add. Bummer.

Yea, I need to know the name of the song that goes something like this: dip de-dum, bum bum re-rum, fum fum le-lum, ding ding.
Then this one dude starts singing, with more of that bum bum stuff in the background.
Then, right in the middle, there is this sweet guitar solo, it goes something like this: Deedle leedle wreeek wreeek steekle weekle, strum strum.
Then he repeats the first part, and its over.
I think I heard it on the radio. Or TV. Or maybe it was in a movie. Should be easy to recognize for someone.

I know this one, it is a classic! It is the soundtrack for that action movie that has that buffed up actor, and that pretty actress, and he's got some guns, and the evil guys lose at the end. The title is....
...wait, Deedle leedle or Deedle weedle? The one I had in mind goes "Deedle WEEDLE wreeek wreeek steekle weekle", so it is not the one you looking for. Sorry.

well, music has always definitely been my most important and trusthworty companion, since I was a teenager in the '90s.. I've never passed a single day without music!
though, I've always been skeptical (i'm a super introvert person, although i'm not shy at all.. I can talk with anyone without problems, but it's extremely hard to make friends and relationships to me) about the new social things, from the websites to smartphones..
my ex girlfriend forced me to buy a smartphone xD and well I installed Shazam which changed my life! ahah XD
though, shazam unfortunately many times doesn't get the songs, especially since I love to listen to folk music, or non mainstream music, even if it's pop..
before that, I was the kind of guy that spent 30 minutes on google to try and find the song through the two words I remembered.. something I still do anyways, youtube doesn't have that many songs.. even if we think to youtube as a music thing, it isn't like napster winmx even emule.. it's more a social network now, songs are reduced to a little.. and sites like soundcloud are emerging..
well by the way I keep off spotify and similar things, I prefer my old CDs and vinyls and my mp3 readers, I use programs like free cd to mp3 converter to upload there my music and i'm ok =P

Hello, good and kind people of steamgifts!
Welcome to the officially unofficial "looking for a name of song" thread.
This is the place where we help each other find a specific song or soundtrack which you heard from a TV show trailer, shop, elevator, etc but you have no idea what is the name of it.
I am pretty sure that all of us encountered that problem and sometimes even mighty Shazam (or other similar program) was not able to identify it.
I believe that we can help each other better than those softwares because there are so many of us with so different interests and favourate music and band styles.
So why is this a thing?
There are so many requests in discussions like "Help me find this song", "Anyone here knows the song form tra la la la film?" and no such common thread to unite those requests. As for me, this is happening from time to time as well...
Well, there is a big thread created by this lovely person but her thread is aimed to share the music you like with others so there is a slight difference which is why I decided to creat this thread
Well the main aim of this thread is explained now but is that it?No, I hope that this thread will surve as a place to find a new potential friend, share some invite only giveaways and so on for everyone as well. Everybody is welcome here <3
I will add some giveaways here later...nothing special and probably good but hey this is still a free thingy for you after all =)
