You made him a friend and don't want to leave him with him KNOWING you want to leave him, you may have sick already, you may pity him, but you befriended him for a reason and if guilty would eat you if you block him and leave him for good, then do this (or try if you haven't already):
teach him NOT to be a pain, just enough so he manages to get another friend, more to "share the burn/burden", you don't need to make him a good catch or a perfect role model, just friendly enough so it isn't that annoying.
Or you know, just effin' block him and forget the whole thing, then try to sleep at night, picturing him calling for you, in the black void of emptyness....

Let's do it short, someone from my country plays dota as Well and he's a pain in the ass.
When I go online he says 'want Dota?' And I wanted to play alone so I say no and go to play payday.
I play Dota alone and then he asks 'want Dota?' For like ten times and I'm midgame so he start spamming 'answer me'
I quickly do shift+tab and snap 'later'.
I had lost the game, and went payday after that, when im in a forest and cops every where (so i cant shift+tab) he says like 'want dota?' And 'later is 1-2 hours' 'answer me'. I had to quickly tell him again the 'We've played yesterday' so he says 'yesterday' like i have to play with him every time.
Oh and he spams me at skype as well so i just wanna block him
TL;DR If I block him will he be able to see that I've blocked him? I dont wanna remove him cuz it seems like he has no friends at all.
(BTW I dont really enjoy too much playing with him, he is in LP and abandons a lot so it stays 4Vs5 and he is one of those 'fuck others, im mid')
P.s. There's someone I enjoy playing so I don't wanna go offline
