Game Testers? * Link updated*

For those of you who wanted to be apart of something new. Now is your chance. Soon we will release a few copies of the alpha version of the game for testing. Then few weeks or months after we will have some beta copies available.

This is FPS game that will soon to be released on STEAM using the UDK engine. We do not have a website just yet the only thing we have is a Facebook page so if you want updates please like our page

More information will be posted soon. We will post screenshots and videos tell you all about our project. If you have any questions please post on our page. You never know somebody may have the game question as you do .

Yes we made TONS of guns. We may not use them all but we will use alot of them. We have more weapons that we havent upload yet.

It is under site etiquette that you should ask a mod if you can, I'm not sure if it's a terrible thing if he didn't though.

"terrible" may be the wrong word here - nonetheless he's encouraging every person interested to "like/follow their FB profile" which is clearly an advertising and as such it requires support approvement to do so.

Well, yes it is advertising, but by terrible I meant that it isn't a strictly enforced rule, as it says that it would like if you informed a mod about it, so I'm not sure if there would be any strict consequences if he didn't. But if he hasn't, I still think it'd be a good idea to inform a mod.

Yes UDK is compatible with MAC. After a full Windows build i will have it ready for MAC as well.

From what I've read on Google, the Unreal Engine doesn't support Linux, but I might be wrong.

I looked at the other thread on this that closed, and it said you were going for a Survival/Horror like FPS. What would we be fighting in this game? Zombies? Mutant creatures? Aliens? I believe we'd all appreciate enlightenment on this.

Do you need a better PR guy? Because it's generally not a good idea to try building up hype unless you already have something to show for it.

I mean, screenshots don't take hours to upload. Maybe hours to "get right," but not so long to upload. You may want to have screenshots and videos ready before you start making your big announcement, and not doing so is kind of disrespectful to anyone who might be interested.

I feel like you're kind of making yourself your own worst enemy. I mean, I have a lot of respect for anyone who can make a product - I'm trying to get into game development, and I know how tough it is. But I also have to assume that you're a developer of the game, meaning that you're spending less time developing your game just so you can make announcements and argue with people over what reasonable expectations would be.

If game development is what you do best, then it might be a good idea not to try to handle the whole PR thing on your own either. Glancing through this thread, I do feel kind of bad for all the flak you've received, even if I do feel it's justified to some extent.
