This is weird...
Did you try to remove any other DR2 related file from storage settings? (not just deleting the game from dashboard)
Furtnermore, saves, maybe a demo leftover or something etc.

I removed every Dead Rising 2 related stuff from my console.

OK let's try this.
Insert (if you have a spare) a usb flash drive in a usb port of your xbox 360.
Download and run the game through it and keep me posted :)
Also, I forgot to ask if you attempted to load the game from another account (in case you have more than 1 on your 360).

So Dead Rising 2 and another Dead Rising 2 Case Zero are free from Aug 16-31 for Xbox 360 Gold members, I installed them both and Case Zero works but when I play Dead Rising 2 it goes for a second then goes to a black/gray screen and doesn't do anything else. Shortly after the controller turns off. I've tried reinstalling but nothing. Anybody know how to fix this? :/
