Solution:
Solving the nonogram will give you the following hint:
1(23:16:6) 2(28:10:36) 3(35:5:1) 4(57:32:49) 5(93:3:2)
This is used to find the letters in the book: Sapiens: A Brief History of Humankind (hint 1).
I mentioned archive.org, you can search the book there. Hint 2 would give you the correct edition to use to get the code.
1(23:16:6) means 1st character of the giveaway code – on page 23 (not book page, but the page number on the archive.org pdf) – line 16 – 6th character. Hint 3 has “no space” on it, also, all punctuation has been removed, meaning not to count space and punctuation when counting characters.
1(23:16:6) would give you letter l
2(28:10:36) would give you letter A
3(35:5:1) would give you letter L
4(57:32:49) would give you letter J
5(93:3:2) would give you letter a

Happy 7 years on SG, and congrats on making level 7! :)
Solved the nono, but no idea where to go from there lol.

Thanks for the hint! I gave it a go, but I couldn't solve it. I thought I had the right idea, but I guess there are still several ways you could interpret the code you get after solving the nono. I might try again during the weekend.

Happy cakeday! If you like Sapiens, you might be interested in Guns Germs and Steel. I still prefer Jared Diamond's style and depth over Harari's conciseness, but it's undeniable Sapiens is a much easier read on the topic.
I got stuck on the puzzle so I won't be boarding the train, but I hope the puzzle-aficionados on SG enjoy the GAs :)

Congrats on the double 7 achievements. Nice milestones ticked!
Glad my thread has inspired you a little bit to make one of your own. :-)
The nono was a nice puzzle but its too late in the evening for me to try and work out the other number puzzle. Will give it a go tomorrow.
Bumping!

The king of procrastination is here!
Inspired by many community members, such as RosimInc, TomasMacMordain, Ignition365, steveywonder75, moonlightdriver and many others, I present you with a 7-wagon out-of-nowhere overdue train to celebrate my 7th cakeday (which was in May) and reaching level 7 (which was on January 5, 2025).
So I decided to read again (between this, TV series, movies, job applications, I now rarely have time to play games. I don’t remember the last time I actually played a game, probably in June? RIP my game library, I will tackle the backlog one day™). The first book I am gonna read is called Sapiens: A Brief History of Humankind by Yuval Noah Harari. How much would I remember after reading the book, probably little, but it is good to know. I prefer the old-school approach to reading, so I bought a paperback version. This sentence was removed, see edit
Also all the games come from Fanatical Mystery Box Bundle and VIP Mystery Bundle, and I am the guy who would pick lottery numbers with 0 number matching (which takes skills and it a skill itself - I can provide numbers that won't be drawn). So don't get your hope up.
Sept 02 edit: Removed the mention of archive.org
