Just wondering, what would happen if the point regen rate decreased drastically?

Nothing is going to change. If you want a game so bad, get it the same way you got games before you found this site.

The way it is you spend more time on the site. More forum disc. etc. Not just hit and run

If everyone is spamming their entries, then it's still fair. You can't exactly draw a clear line between games you want and ones you don't, I mean there are games I really really want, there are games I want but aren't sure they're worth the asking price, there are games I feel indifferent about and ones that just don't interest me.

If there were less points, then I wouldn't be able to enter for all the games I really wanted. And since it applies to everyone, I don't think much would really change.

I've been known to enter giveaways for games other than those I really really want, hell I've entered giveaways for games I'd previously never heard of. But I have never entered a giveaway for a game I don't intend to play if I win, and I think that matters more than how much you want it. I mean, I've played games before that I thought I wouldn't like and they've turned out to be the best I've ever played, I don't want point regen changes to limit my chances of that happening again.

The same number of people would win the same number of games.

Sure, you would have more win chance on GAs because of less entries. But on the other hand you have less GAs you enter in yourself.

So in the end, you'll win more GAs with less total entries but it's the same amount of people winning GAs. I think your estimated wins won't change drastically with a different amount of points.
The ones winning here are the people who spend the time on this site point capped as they won't really enter less GAs. But those people mostly don't enter public GAs in the first place.
