So has anyone tried the new game Murdered: Soul Suspect?

The reviews are... not really nice, to say the least. I would like to hear your opinion on the matter.

Would it really be a surprise if it turned out to be another over-hyped mess? I don't think so. I haven't played yet though, so I don't know what it's like.

This game if far from hyped in anyway. It's a simply medicore 40$ prices game, nothing wrong with games like these.

Yet it has 15+ trailers on it's steam page, but none of them contains actual gameplay footage.
This game is giving me exactly the same vibe as watchdogs, a nice idea and a fairly decent game overall, but totally different from what they've made it appear to be.
To elaborate, I've never heard of the game but found it yesteday on steam, since i'm a huge fan of LA noire it looked really interesting with tags and a description implying that it's a detective game, yet when I watch the trailers and other promo material it all just looks like another Max payne 3 (not that it was bad, it just isn't a detective game more a linear shooter)

Got it from an AMD Silver Reward key I bought for around £5, so really I doubt it can disappoint me for that price!
