It can be a while sometimes, especially if you're entering for all the high $$ AAA games. There are plenty of multi-copy giveaways with higher odds, or cheaper / lesser-quality games will give you higher odds if winning a game is truly your only goal.
Or if you just want to trade games with people there's Steamtrades and similar.
In the end, it's just other people giving stuff away, so no one owes you anything. As others have said, if you're giving gifts (it's right there in the name), you shouldn't necessarily be expecting anything in return.

I won mostly crappy games but one or a few decent ones too. Overall for me i barely find it worth to enter giveaways today, and i currently do not bother. I mostly use the site for socializing and discussing PC gaming and stuff. For that the site is pretty good, imo.

Learn probability. How many people are entering the same giveaways as you? I'm assuming the 300 giveaways you entered didn't all have less than 300 participants. Either increase your odds by joining groups and solving puzzles and entering trains and all that, or come to terms with the fact that if you join public giveaways with thousands of participants, then it will likely take thousands of entries before you get a win.
Also, if you give away games that aren't free, you can increase your level and get access to higher level giveaways with fewer participants.

I'm glad they accurately named this site "SteamTrades" and not something misleading like "SteamGifts".
SteamGifts would leave the impression that people are giving things away, for free, without any expectation of receiving things in return. SteamTrades, on the other hand, the name of this site we're on right now, would set up the expectation of receiving something of equal, or near-equal value in exchange for the things one is trading. I can't believe the site owners would mislead you like that. You should certainly leave. No good, rotten, very bad day, indeed.

Many of the people that actually engage with the site will tell you, as some already have, that the true joy is in giving away games, be it your leftover keys, be it freshly bought games, to an amazing community.
