The cure
I really don't understand the calling out rule in cases like this.
I mean, the OP is just pointing something out. He isn't accusing anyone of anything, just sharing some valid information about something he found on this website.

That's kinda public shaming and that might be considered calling out by the mods.
If I were you, I wouldn't take any chances.

It's not about can they or can they not
If you create a thread saying "hey look, this user deleted some of their giveaways", maybe this person would get in some blacklists because of this, or they would be considered by some to be a non trustworthy user, when there is maybe a valid reason as to why they deleted the giveaways.
This might be calling out, or this might not be, but in any case I think it would have been better to leave the name out because we don't know what happened.

Well... yeah, that's kinda exactly what I said.
And I'm not completely sure but I think public shaming is considered calling out, even if no rules were broken.

That's the point, I don't think this violates any rule but at the same time it isn't right. What's the purpose of creating 2 GAs and then deleting them a few hours before the dead line? He took a month to realise that he doesn't know how this site work? Really?

I noticed recently that a level 7 user with over 200 gifts sent deleted 2 of their giveaways I was entered in. The giveaways were running for a while, it was clearly not a mistake.
I have no idea what these users are doing.

Ha ha maybe that already happened to some users ^^ but the giveaways I'm talking about had lengthy descriptions and were made for specific groups

I'd rather not, but if you really want you can add me on Steam

That's a possibility.
I never said they were evil, just that I had no idea what could be the reason.

there may be various reasons for deleting GAs, I deleted quirte a few myself in my history. If they were private/puzzle GAs, maybe it got leaked? or if forum GA, maybe p[osted publicly somewhere else? maybe he realized that games are region locked? Lastly maybe he doesn't have them anymore? (for example I had to delete a GA myself, because while sending a gift for GA from my alt to my main account I accidentally clicked add to library instead of add to inventory and bam - the gift was gone ;p)

"HEY SUBSCRIBE MY YOUTUBE CHANNEL SO I CREATE MORE GIVEAWAYS !"
Deletes 1-month long giveaways when it's 1 hour left.

Use the appropriate avenues for support. If you have an issue with another user, submit a ticket with a user report, rather than calling them out within the community or on the forum.
EDIT: ninja'd by zelghadis, I should refresh more often

They want you to report infringements to them only and let them deal with it.

they want you to stick to reporting, because it's support job to punish rulebreakers, not community's job. If you want to play witch hunt - go to 4chan instead.
Not to mention the fact than more often than not innocent people are being called out - usually regarding scams. Newbie gets scammed by impersonator, doesn't realize it was an impersonator, because he's newbie, goes to forums and publicly names innocent trader as scammer.

Exactly this.
It was thoroughly explained in a previous version of SGv2 FAQ, I don't understand why it was removed (also, the translations)

cg stripped away like 75% of massive and detailed FAQ chronic and a lot of other users created during beta, including much more translations. Honestly no idea why - with it we now gotta repeat ourselves on forums over and over again
not only that sth is prohibited, but also explaining why every single time.

I've edited the original post even if I think this is a mistake.
Right now this user and others are taking advantage of a loophole, promoting their youtube channels, their giveaways groups on steam,... and then killing the GA before it ends, but they aren't breaking any rule so reporting them is useless.
It's funny how a few days ago Khalaq (support staff) was calling for more users' involvement, yet there is no way to speak freely on the forum, the one and only place where we can talk about what's happening inside steamgifts.

Khalaq's thread was asking for more involvement in checking your winners and reporting them if needed. It wasn't asking us to do their job and try to apply some sort of community justice. You can talk about what's happening, as long as you don't mention names.
Just look at the results of your poll. You probably got this guy on a lot of blacklists when there might just be a valid reason as to why they deleted the giveaways. They didn't even get a chance to explain themselves. Do you still think it's right to put their name in this thread ?
You say that they are taking advantage of a loophole, but keep in mind that you lose giveaways slots when deleting them. Since this user deleted 2 giveaways with 5 copies, they lost 10 slots and they'll have to do 30 legit giveaways to get these back. You can't just keep deleting all your giveaways, you'll end up not being able to create any giveaway at all.

I will close this thread since the purpose was pointing out the specific giveaways/user, as I assume from the comments. Please don't repeat that since it's against the rules. Use support instead.
As for deleting giveaways, as others mentioned the users might use whatever reason they like even if it doesn't apply, however deleting a giveaway eats up one of their slots. If they want their slots back eventually they need to explain what happened.

Being a new user myself, I'm still trying to understand many things about steamgifts. What puzzles me the most is the number of giveaways that are deleted every day by many GA creators because they "Did Not Understand How the Site Works".
Until now, all these were created by noobs giving away expensive games (gta v, witcher 3, ...) with only one purpose: waste our time.
But this week I've seen this:

http://i.imgur.com/9TIspUx.png
He is a level 5 user that's been around for over a year and a half, with 78 gifts won and 32 sent (that ratio is getting close to 3:1). He kept those 2 GAs running for a month, and then... suddenly... he realised that he doesn't understand how the site works.
So I wonder, what can we do as a community to help him fix this behaviour? Please use the poll or post and alternative option ;)
EDIT: Removed the original GAs links.
