By Korean War im referring to the war after WWII that the U.S. (and others) fought in, not a futuristic one. Have you EVER seen a Korean war game? Was it any good? If it was realistic plot-wise it would be very interesting probably

Because the Humanity is so great with all its wars that they can't do much games about all of them.

You didn't even read the opening post, did you? TC is talking about the real war, not fictional wars.

It is not about Korean War (25 June 1950 – 27 July 1953).

More proof that the "forgotten war" moniker is appropriate.
Don't worry, I hear that a MASH MMO is in the works.

why is the tread about no Vietnam games more popular than mine about no Korean War games lol?

For the same reason there are more games about Vietnam than the Korean war. ;)

i'm still waiting for a cold war game. Ya know, where basically you stare at a tv the whole time wondering when nukes will be launched.

I've wondered this for years. I suppose its because it doesn't really reach any kind of conclusion. Although, I think that would just give the game designers the opportunity to make a game with three endings. They could have you play from both sides, as well, ala Transformers: War for Cybertron.

they really cant make a war on an ongoing conflict. fight a couple of years of combat and sit waiting to be deployed for 60 years is not a fun base for a game

If I had to guess, it's that it doesn't make a game too different from WW2. The tech didn't really advance that much in-between the two wars, at least not to the level of Vietnam. The biggest leap was the conversion to Jet Fighters.

There is some serious tension between north and south still today, and the south has banned some video games on the subject to avoid increasing tensions. This might be the answer. Some developers might hesitate about adding fire to the oil.
