In my country, the game cost RS169,00 at full price. Today it is costing R$ 39,99.
As the game is 50% off, it costs R$ 18,99.

I bought it and I can confirm that it is a complete game, including the 3 episodes.

In Argentina it went from $1699,00 ARS to $224,99 (half with the actual discount). Looks like they are using the steam suggested prices.

Well, looking at SteamDB they have obviously lowered the base price for the game today. They have done so also for some other countries, with Argentine getting even bigger price drop than Brazil. Seems like they are adjusting regional prices and only time will tell, if if such a drastic cut has been intended or is an error, that they will correct soon. Poland, btw, got only 30% cut.

Maybe due to their projected sales for the month not going so well.. either way, sooner or later, it will end up in a monthly bundle

Same here in Turkey. Probably because of trans character i guess. It's stupid but maybe devs just didn't want to deal with hate from anti LGBT countries i don't know.

Tell me why its not available in Malaysia

Yeah, no, still non-available for Russia. Frankly, I've just pirated it since the game's publishers don't want me to purchase it. That's a shame, really: the game is actually quite good.

it's not the publisher's fault. It's due to Russian censorship laws

Nope, it's not. It would be enough to add "18+" to pass our local limitations. Also, it's not available in many countries with transphobic mentality, but civilized laws (like Ukraine, for instance). Basically, I think that the publisher is simply afraid of negative reviews.

Most boring Dontnod game, and not because of the trans protagonist, but that is the pure reason of the high review value, however it will probably drop as now haters can review it just by playing the free part?

Chapter 1 might be free now, but that is the worst part of the game, no way anyone would buy it after playing that part. Shame, the potential of this game was huge.

I wish the game was bad, because then at least I would have something to talk about. But Tell Me Why is something worse than bad: it's mediocre. Everything you do in the first 20 minutes of the game is pretty much how the rest of the game will play out. You can't even say it's a bad game because it doesn't earn enough identity to be labeled as such.

Super disappointing. I played it on pc gamepass and it is the worst Dontnod game. they do a great job with being respectful towards trans and mental health topics and I think they made Alaska look nice but the dialogue looks like it was pulled from a Trevor Project trifold. It just doesnt feel like they did any of the writing themselves and the plot hook just doesnt work.

"Suffered a price reduction" is a peculiar choice of words. :)

It is very common to say, in Portuguese, that a product for sale "suffered" a price reduction. It is like saying "a product had a price reduction."
I just don't know how strange that sounds in English. :)

Suffering, at least in modern American English, is typically a hardship of some kind. "Pain and suffering" is a phrase. An unwanted ordeal. We'd typically just stick with the "had a price reduction" version for prices. I think "suffering" may have had a wider usage in decades past, but it's mostly narrowed to just being a bad, unfortunate thing these days.

Interesting to hear about its Portuguese usage!

Like godprobe said, "suffered" sounds negative in general. But it was a playful, friendly note, nothiing more! :)

Sooner or later, every game on Steam drops in price. That is the main way I save money on gaming. Look at Metro 2033 as an example.

That's true. But "Tell me Why" had a price reduction in less than 10 months.
