Did Valve raise the prices for summer sale?

It seems to be that the deals this time arent as good as the winter sales, but thats just me

you might not be imaging some time some stores raises their prices a bit so when they put them on sale it looks like its a good deal, but in reality its just a sale tactic and its not much of a deal.

It has definitely been done on Steam and other digital game distributor sites before, so it would not surprise me.

They still look pretty high...

On my wishlist, splinter Cell, Serious Sam 3. Rage and Dead Space 2 all have risen in price overnight, making the discount a blatant lie. Really disgusted by those because it treats the customers as idiots who will buy games at "75% off" regardless of its current market price. I am in NZ for those checking regions.

Isn't this forbidden in your country? Here on Brazil I remember having something like a rule against that... :S
