Motor Rock was revoked from my account this morning. I am pretty sure I bought the key directly from the publisher more than 5 years ago...
Edit: Seems it was renamed, files deleted from depots. In forums people who bought the game 9 years ago got it revoked... Seems to be a mass purge of the game from existence.
Edit 2: Update from dev in Steam forums, claims his acct was hacked and will reinstate game to prior owners

Attention! The account was hacked (be patient, It is the only topic for a discussion)
Pls, wait for more info. Sorry for the situation!
Edit 3: The game has returned to my library!

Likewise, bought from publisher's site...
Update: The game is back in my library!

my best bet is due copyrights lawsuit or something related.

Me too. And now the dev has earned a bunch of goodwill if/when he ever decides to release another game that collectors want.
If only other devs with less honorable intentions would take notice - even if they do a silly(/blatant theft), just apologize and restore the keys and they'll get some positive rep, rather than sinking online reputation forever.

Go Go Bundle #34, keys were 100% good 1 month ago (barter already has the notice)
edit: thanks Support!

Ah, glad you asked. I did get the update, quote: "F**K you, sucker"
Of course said and done much more diplomatically, but the result is the same - Humble Bundle does not feel obligated to give me replacement key because I've uncovered my key long time ago (probably more than 2 years or something)
Sure I did it, as I do uncover most of my key immediately not wanting to get the oh so sweet announcement about keys being out of stock (not to mention few cases when games where being withdrawed completely!),
Anyway, all buyers of Humble Bundle - beware. You're subject to catch 22, and unless you activate your games immediately, you're risking losing it in one way or another.

Dev deleted the thread about the keys being revoked, and now says a restore is expected. We will see if this happens.
Paco linked to the dev's comment in that thread, thankfully a copy/paste as the thread is deleted, so you can read it and see if it makes sense to you. I didn't understand what his game had to do with having a whale and another game called blue whale and whether they are targeting all games with whales in them in his region, otherwise I don't see why he's specifically is being harassed over it and why they don't just read the titles of the products before going to him.

maybe nothing, developer removed also his other "game" "utility" from steam 2 days ago, without announcement or warning.
and there is no whale inside.
https://steamdb.info/app/1957250/
thats why the "revoke all keys" from steam should be removed from developer side.

i asked why my key was revoked on the official board and even wrote "thank you for any response" under it to be polite and not sound rude - and a minute later i was permanently banned from the games hub with the reason "Tired of fake accounts" :(

Looking at the version history at SteamDB (https://steamdb.info/app/511670/history/) it seems someone is still doing ?something?
Edit: I got it from Go Go Bundle Limited #73 https://www.steamgifts.com/discussion/ycOY5/gogobundle-go-go-bundle-limited-73

Check your libraries, the game is back with a new name.
Comment has been collapsed.
Game is now titled MRWN(at least for now since this is the third time it's name has been changed) for those who have too big of a library to go one by one and try and figure it out. First it was MS(Test) then he went back to Marwin and the... and then MRWN.

write to steam support
tell them that they should think about their Developer system
this guy revoke all keys just because he felt it
and some days later want to restore them.
and also banning people like he is the dictator of that community hub.
and steam shoudl change that.
so my tipp: write to support, they will NOT unlift the community ban, but they need to be contacted with this stuff.

DIG bundles.
DIG is so scammy, you never know if it's really an issue with the dev, or if it's with the bundle site selling stolen keys. Or both.

95% its the Developer.

Hi, Very sorry about this. I will have to consult Steam Support to see how best we can rectify this. Rest assured if you purchased the game through a bundle we will honour that and provide you with a replacement key
dev posted that.

you also saw that that dev gave 2 times key to dig, 2 times to GoGoBundle and 2 times to fanatical ? - and we know what happend with gogobundle :) and not DiG or fanatical
and obv this dev not readed/checked his mails/contracts?
talking about maximum 30% discount, and argue that its now 97%, because its in an bundle ? and same time selling for 90% on Fanatical.... - thats what this Dev not writing eh?.. (0,29€ -90% bei Fanatical 8.11.2017)
anyway selling a 9 Euro game to "Grey market sites" and selling them there for 0.99$ .. yes i would totally trust this developer.
also DiG admin say "a reason to revoke keys to „boost sales"
and this dev read and write back "How would removing my game from your store front boost my sales?"
Comment has been collapsed.
I know it's not an isolated incident.
You do seem quite invested in this though, which is weird.
Comment has been collapsed.
you seems pretty much interested to make dig-admin look sus... weird. ;-)
i had just many developer revoken their keys, also from Dig and so i contacted that dig-admin and he always was friendly and competent. and everytime it was the developer who got paid by him and so stolen the keys from the customers.(inlcuding screenshots of transactiond and emails) and most of time, the dig-admin also put some money back on the buyers of these keys/bundles.

My own experience is that I was AFK for a while due to computer issues, and the DIG owner arbitrarily closed my account, did not provide the keys I'd bought but not redeemed yet, and his response was that it was my fault for not logging in for a few months and server costs lol.
So...YMMV I guess.
Comment has been collapsed.
its written somewhere, i think 12 months not logged in and the accounts get closed.
but you get an email 1 month before.
see here
Dear gamers,
It has been almost one year since you have last logged in to your account.
Accounts that have been inactive for over one year, are being removed and deleted.
If you have already logged in to your account, please ignore this email.
This is being done to avoid ever increasing server costs we incur with storing large amounts of data, which is something we unfortunately can't sustain on the long run, considering we sell games with a few cents markup.
To keep your account active, all you have to do is login at least once a year, so that we know you are still out there. No purchase or anything else is necessary.
Log in and 1 Year everything is fine.
dont see your point, not reading and reacting to emails.

Nope. That may be what it says now, but that's not how it actually was. But hey, keep supporting the criminal. That's all you my friend

From the discussion thread the people who commented saying that it was removed from their library all have the owned game icon next to their name, so it seems all of keys are restored to accounts.
From reading what the dev said he was trying to deactivate any unused keys out there and this is the result. It seems like it was an accident, honestly.
Comment has been collapsed.
yeah, and thats the problem.
a guy with mental problem revoke all keys of a 7 years removed game in a mental breakdown
and let the steam support restore them the next day
this dev misclicked and revoked all keys, and steam support didnt wanted to help at first. and later they did. (maybe because of the proofs)
what we learn from that?
steam should deactivate the feature for Developer to revoke all keys without Reason and without cornfirmation from valve. this is BS system.
Comment has been collapsed.
It was likely a review copy. The dev probably found out that their keys are being traded instead of being used for review purposes. If that's the case, no wonder they were revoked.

I remember when this happened - 8 Floor revoked keys from this bundle (with their own company name on it!) without warning, and it was a mess for a while with 8 Floor and maybe some Jetdog Studio games as well? I think there were a couple of bundles where the 8 Floor/Jetdog stuff was mixed. If I'm remembering it right they revoked from some bundles but not others, even. I was always a little vague on which games were revoked and which ones were left whole.

8 Floor revoked all of their unused keys at some point. From all possible sources, not just that IG bundle.
I also had some keys purchased from publisher directly, even those stopped working.

PSA: Star Valor keys from DIG / DIG Bundle 1428 have been revoked by the dev. DIG had no rights to bundle the game.

never trusted Dig glad you stopped posting about their bundles

Granted this dev thought he gave DIG the keys to sell at full price($25) with a max 10% discount. Don't get me wrong, but how many games at $25 does dig sell? Not sure what their contract actually said, but this wouldn't sell even on fanatical, humble, indiegala for $25 as the user can just buy it from steam at that price. If it was $13 maybe I'd see some copies on those sites, then for like $2 on dig but no more. I can't help but feel like the dev knew very well what he was doing. It's rated 3/5 stars of 1 review on fanatical from a 1 year release and 90% on steam somehow?, which I highly doubt are keys at $25, especially when the dev was happy to sell people the game at $3 through some discord chat. Most top reviews steam to be criticizing dig, promoting the dev for being active, but not actually taking the game in consideration. So inflated score too imo.
PS: didn't have this game anyways, I just did a bit of research and figured some things don't add up.

Surgeon Simulator:
Freshly revealed key from Fanatical's Indie Legends 3 was duped.
Another key, from an unknown bundle with the same subid (48978), was also duped.
Two keys from Indiegala's Gameplay Giveaway (subid 27173) were duped as well, but this has already been reported on barter.
Given the first two keys' status, it's possible some batches have been revoked by the dev.
Comment has been collapsed.
Any idea if the giveaway was the one from May 2019? or the one from Oct 2022?
Edit: I tried 16 keys from Oct 2022, all dupe. I don't have any from May 2019 to try.

According to this Steam discussion, either Fanatical or the developer should give you a replacement.

Lists to use:
Unused Keys Revoked: https://barter.vg/notices/513
Revoked (Dev): https://barter.vg/notices/362
Revoked (DMCA): https://barter.vg/notices/361
Duplicates: https://barter.vg/notices/372
If you want this information for one game specifically, you can find it under the "Notices" section for the Barter entry of that game.
(Example: https://barter.vg/i/42708/ then scroll down to "Notices": you'll see the red notice "Revoked (Dev) ⌫"; mouseovering it will give you some more info)
Thanks to everyone who reported their key revocations here. Please continue reporting them here. You folks are awesome!
Due to character limit, time constraints and having to manually create the chart rows, it's very difficult to keep a list on revocations on SteamGifts. Since I am the one managing these notices on Barter anyway, I thought it would be convenient to centralize the reports from SteamGifts and trade offers into one place and Barter proved to be a good solution for that because of its bundles and game database.
The below lists will not be updated on SG any more, but all your reports will be reflected on Barter, so please continue reporting them.
Previous links, for reference:
A list of games completely revoked from your library after activation
A list of games whose unredeemed keys were revoked (the big chart that was previously in this thread was moved here)
More games with invalidated keys can be found here.
