I think use tools is better. Sometimes, use calculator is not a good choice. For example, people (Game dev) that want to make GA's with 1000 copy of game, and he want to know how many CV gained from created GA's before he create the GA's, its so difficult to calculate CV from 1000 copy of game with calculator right?. Hahaha. :D ☇

I just tried making a script using that formula and, apparently, I screwed up. I then wasted from 2:30am to 3 trying to fix it. It's making me wonder if your formula is wrong.
