Site is in Latvian but I think you will be able to understand specs.

if you are planning to play in a laptop, well, try to afford a better video card;
The ssd you can buy it later, if you choose a laptop with a not so good video card.. well you have to carry it till the end ^^' (in some laptops you can change video card, but it's not that simple)
The asus n56jr has a nvidia 760m, that is a bit better than 745/7
840, but i don't know how much does it cost now ..
By the way, use this website, to compare video cards, it's a very useful site ^^

At the moment that Asus is a bit over my budget. It might become cheaper in next few months (since I need laptop only in September I can wait).
If anyone else has any suggestions feel free to leave them here. I'll definitely consider them all.

Uhh I don't know about the recent models, but up until at least 2012-ish, the main Thinkpad lines have remained roughly the same quality outside of the T410 generation
If you're talking about their new consumer stuff, those all come out of the same few factories and there really isn't much difference between consumer models of any company.

GT 745M
GT 840M
I'd say go with the one with the GT 745M, the extra money is not worth it for the one with the 840M
Edit: This is not as good, but is cheaper. http://www.1a.lv/datortehnika/portativiedatori/acer_aspire_e1572g_nxmjrel024
Pretty much the laptop I have right now, only difference is that mine is the V5-561PG-6819, mine is touchscreen, otherwise, same specs. I got my V5 on sale for $630 Canadian. Which is what, 430 Euros?
I'm really enjoying the laptop, runs a lot of games around max settings for me with playable FPS.
With the R7 M265, the GPU switches automatically between the integrated one and it. So when you are browsing the web, you can select it to use the integrated GPU

Hello my gamer friends!
So it's the time of the year when I need to start long and painful search of a laptop because in September I'm going to high school. Since I can't take my desktop PC with me but I want to play some games (don't need best graphics settings though) then I'm looking for best price/performance laptop I can get.
At the moment I have 2 choices - MSI GP60 or Lenovo IdeaPad Z710. Both are good and can't compare them since prices are different (about 100 euros difference). BUT maybe someone has used both or atleast one of them and could give me an opinion?
And to make sure - my budget is under 800 euros but I would like to go through with 700 euros and spend that 100 euros on some other stuff like SSD to put in the laptop I decide buy.
