are the DLCs for the game any good?

Awakening is a huge expansion and is pretty worth it imo. The other DLC are hit or miss, but at this point the "Ultimate" edition is the best bet for DA:O.

Agree with this, probably played though Origin and Awakening 3 or 4 times since they came out.

If you want the full story yes, play Origins-Awakening-Witch Hunt

Wow, very cool. Created an Origin account only for that game just now. I've been wanting to play that for along time! Does anybody know if there's a way to extract a Steamkey as this is possible with Desura games?

Nope. You can do it the other way around though, Origin games on Steam give you a key to redeem on Origin.

Yes, this is how I got a copy of DAO ultimate edition a while back onto Origin

I forgot you can do this for some games. I was able to redeem my copy of Spore and DLC in Origin. I don't know that I'll ever need it both places, but I'd rather have my copy in all of my services. Thanks for the reminder.

1-2 Years ago I could just enter the origin productcode at steam too.
But that was with the Ultimate Edition.
Don't know if that still works.

When I click on get it now it doesn't do anything. Origin must be over saturated right now

Wish they would give DA2 for free instead. I feel like I should play it to get a complete experience from Inqusition but I have serious doubts about its quality. Would love for it to go under 5 euros since I won't ever pay more.

DA2 was fun. Not as good as DA:O but nowhere near the travesty people made it out to be. The biggest downside is the recycled maps, if you're a completionist and do all the quests you can, you will revisit the same areas a lot.

Asides from that, it feels and plays like a standard Bioware RPG in my eyes.

Can't log in since last night.

Suddenly remembered about Bejeweled 3 being free and that I hadn't claimed it yet. Origin wouldn't let me log in, saying I've got the wrong email/password combo a few times. I change the password and get the same. Change it again and get the same. Now trying again today and it's been 30 minutes I've requested a change of password and I've got no email link yet.

Got it, but had to a workaround - thanks OP!

I remembered a little trick from when I had password problems with Origin before. This isn't the first time I've had this kind of thing happen. Creating and/or changing the password on a "Star Wars: The Old Republic" account registered to the same email address also changes your Origin password, and it has less problems attached to it. Just changed the password there instead and was able to log in to Origin straight away after I'd done it.

I'm pretty sure my swtor account would still be attached to my security key, which was attached to my old phone, which wasn't attached to anything when it fell in a cup of beer. Luckily I knew my origin password.

So if I get that one on the house, do I get some option to upgrade it to UE later? Or would I have to "buy the game again"?

You can buy Ultimate Edition DLC à la carte or buy the whole Ultimate Edition separately, and there's is no special discounted SE->UE upgrade, I think.

Where's the option to buy the Ultimate Edition content separately? I only see the full package.

Edit: if you meant on BSN, I was talking about Origin store.

Buy all the dlc and the expansion, that is all the ultimate edition is. Although just buying the ultimate edition flat out is cheaper.

It's like EA is giving away the games which i recently bought on Steam... Doesn't matter, i'm happier with Steam and with the Ultimate Edition.
